The scenario is inspired by the stories of two legendary serial killers who were living during the comunist time in Poland. What’s important, is that the story does not replay real events, but deals with the potential mechanisms that occur, when “a serial killer is being born”.
Karol is a teenager, like any other – young, athletic, at the threshold of life. Everything changes when this young, nice boy becomes an accidental witness to a murder. Guided by curiosity, he follows the murderer. This way he discovers other “needs” he has, the existence of which, he had only sensed so far, but never had the courage, and maybe just opportunity, to name.
A feature-length debut of Marcin Koszałka – an acclaimed documentary film director.
