In July 1995, the biggest genocide in Europe since World War II took place in the small mountain  resort of Srebrenica on the southern border of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Gravediggers is the author’s reflections upon the darkest chapter in the history of former Yugoslavia.



  • International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Plus Camerimage, Łódź 2008 – Silver Tadpole in Students Etudes Competition, Panavision Honourary Mention, the Light for the Arts – OSRAM Company Award for a creative use of light in a film (the director donated the money award to the children in Srebrenica for building a pitch)
