The film is the director’s story about his closest family – his divorced parents. His mother was once a singer; now she is a committed follower of the Radio Maryja family and Father Tadeusz Rydzyk. His father, who fights anticlericals and liberals, is an author of erotic and pornographic books, one of which – Okolice porno shopu – has become a symbol of his graphomania, or urge to write and see his name in print. The director is somewhere between the two extreme life views exhibited by his parents. He tries to investigate how could two such different people could love each other and live together. Using his own life as an example. the director constructs a metaphor of contemporary Poland, the state that was torn after 1989.
