1968. Łazowski, expelled from university just before graduation, discovers a sensational lead. His investigation shows that the 1939 suicide of famous artist Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, known as Witkacy, was in fact a hoax.
An attempt to shed new light on the mystery surrounding Witkacy’s death. A controversial tale about the life of Witkacy, who stages his own death and then hides out in the apartment of his lover Czesława Oknińska.
