What happened later to the protagonists of Krzysztof Zanussi’s 1970s films: Family Life (Życie rodzinne), Camouflage (Barwy ochronne) and Constancy (Constans)? This film tries to find them again. What are they doing now? Where are they? How did the spend the last few decades that have passed since those days? They are interviewed by the would-be suicidal victim, the protagonist of A Warm Heart (Serce na dłoni). His therapist encourages him to try to explore the human soul, to find out if a human life can be successful.
