The story of Anna, a journalist writing an article about prostitution among university students. While working on her piece, she meets two young women, Charlotte and Alicja, who bring her into the world of love for sale. A world that is appalling, yet at the same time – to Anna’s own surprise – somewhat appealing.
Born in 1973. Director and screenwriter. Graduate of the National Film School in Łódź. Her student films and documentaries won a number of film awards; her student film Cisza (Silence) alone won 18 awards at international film festivals. Nominated for a European Film Award as European Discovery of the Year for her features Szczęśliwy człowiek (Happy Man) and Ono (Stranger), both of which screened and received awards various international film festivals. Member of the European Film Academy since 2001.
