Yoodok is the name of a concentration camp in North Korea. Andrzej Fidyk found metatheatrical director, one of the North Korean fugitives in Seoul, and persuaded him to stage a play about the life in such concentration camp. Former prisoners became the authors and actorsofthe performance, the script was basedontheir experiences. A shocking presentation of a totalitarian regime which still, at the turn of the 21st century, makes the lives of millions a real hell on earth.
