"Cold War" Awarded by the Catalon Academy of the Film

Co-financed by the Polish Film Institute  “Cold War” by Paweł Pawlikowski was chosen the best European film by the Catalan Film Academy.

On the website of the Catalan Film Academy, we read: “The revelation of international festivals, the Polish film »Cold War« by Paweł Pawlikowski, was noticed by the Academy which awarded the film with the prize for the best European film.”

“Cold War” defeated the films: “Call Me By Your Name” by Luca Guadagnino, “Faces, Beaches” by Agnes Varda and “Phantom Thread” by Paul Thomas Anderson. In the same category, “Ida” was nominated in 2015, when the prize was won by the film “Great Beauty” by Paolo Sorrentino.
