DOC ALLIANCE: "Scars" at Cannes
The Polish-German co-production entitled “Scars”, directed by Agnieszka Zwiefka, has been selected by the organisers of the Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival for the “Work in Progress” presentation, which will take place as part of the 71st edition of the International Cannes Festival.
“Work in Progress”
The presentation of the “Work in Progress” films, which will include Agnieszka Zwiefka’s film “Scars”, will take place on 12 May 2018. The event will be attended by representatives of sales agents, local distributors and festivals from around the world.
“Scars” presents a former female guerrilla fighter and ideologist from the Tamil Tigers liberation movement in Sri Lanka, who risks her life to return to the island to meet with her former comrades from the civil war in order to tell their story.
