Powidoki (Afterimage) in Rome
“A touching work that portrays the relationship between dictatorship and art, ideology and freedom of expression,” says festival director Antonio Monda about Andrzej Wajda’s most recent work. The lineup of last year’s Rome Film Festival featured Moje córki krowy (These Daughters of Mine) by Kinga Dębska and Crache-Coeur by Julia Kowalski.
