Kinoteka - Polish Film Festival in India

The Kinoteka Polish Film Festival will run from November 19 through December 12 in Bombay and New Delhi.

New Polish Films Supported by the Polish Film Institute

The festival lineup features a selection of recent Polish films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, including Jack Strong by Władysław Pasikowski, Papusza by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze, Ida by Paweł Pawlikowski, Chce się żyć (Life Feels Good) by Maciej Pieprzyca, and Imagine by Andrzej Jakimowski.

A Retrospective and Exhibition Dedicated to Krzysztof Kieślowski

The festival lineup also features a retrospective of films by Krzysztof Kieślowski, who passed away in 1996. Audiences will have an opportunity to see all the films in the Decalogue series, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.


December’s showcase of Polish films in New Delhi will be accompanied by a poster exhibition entitled “The Films of Krzysztof Kieślowski in World Film Posters,” organized by the Museum of Cinematography in Łódź and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
