Polish Films at the 41st Moscow IFF

The productions co-financed by the Polish Film Institute were included in the program of the 41st Moscow International Film Festival.

“Ether” in the Masters section

The latest film by Krzysztof Zanussi is shown in Moscow in the Masters section. Alongside the Polish film, this section also include films by such directors as: Benoît Jacquot, Kim Ki-Duk, Mike Leigh, Bernardo Bertolucci and Guillaume Nicloux.

“The Mute” in the Spectrum section

The Spectrum section will host the international premiere of the film “The Mute” directed by Bartosz Konopka. In September, the film was screened at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, where it received an award for the best cinematography for Jacek Podgórski. In Polish cinemas from June 14.

“Bitter herb” and “Users” in the short film competition

Two Polish productions of “Bitter herb” by Maria Ornaf and “Users” by Jakub Piątek qualified for the short film competition.

All four titles are co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
