They lived in a splendid townhouse on Gdańska street in Łódź. They ran a prosperous rubber factory. Then the war came. They managed to flee from Poland at the last minute.
Today, grandchildren of surviving Jews come to their ancestors’ hometown in search of valuables allegedly buried by their grandfathers before the escape. Unfortunately the family house is now a military building. In their search for family heirlooms, will the protagonists have to face the Polish army?
