New Year’s Eve 1999. 40-year-old Zosia is a happy wife and mother. Her second marriage to Jakub is very successful, and her daughter from the first marriage adores her stepfather. But Zosia bears a grudge against her fate; why culdn’t she have known Jakub 13 years earlier. Sometimes on New Year’s Eve dreams come true. Zosia wakes up… in May of 1987.But her travel in time has mixed results.Zosia’s first husband is asleep next to her, her daughter has not been born yet, and Poland is engulfed by communism. What can be done so that everything turns out well?
Born in 1955. Director, scriptwriter and producer. Graduated from directing at the Łódź Film School. Studied at Cal-Arts in California, was a lecturer at the Hunter College in New york. Laureate of numerous festival awards; directed some of Polish cult comedies. Co-founder and artistic director of the ZEBRA Film Studio.
