A film based on the motives of the tale by Kornel Makuszyński, “The tale of the Princess Mary, the Black Swan and the ice mountain “. Mary is a wretched and fussy princess. In order to get a string of pearls, which she ordered to be confectioned from Zuzia’s tears, and which was carried away by birds, she wants to marry a prince whose palace is built in the clouds. After rejecting all candidates, she chooses a swan that will sing to her in the most lovely voice. To punish her, the Black Swan takes her up on the ice mountain. She has to remain there until she understands how evil she is.
