1968. Łazowski, expelled from university just before graduation, discovers a sensational lead. His investigation shows that the 1939 suicide of famous artist Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, known as Witkacy, was in fact a hoax.

An attempt to shed new light on the mystery surrounding Witkacy’s death. A controversial tale about the life of Witkacy, who stages his own death and then hides out in the apartment of his lover Czesława Oknińska.

Born in 1947. Director and screenwriter. Graduate of film studies at the University of Łódź and both cinematography and directing at the Łódź Film School.
