After 30 years Artur Żmijewski decided to repeat the Stanford prison experiment during which 24 students were selected to play the prisoners and live in a prison in the basement of the Stanford psychology building. Roles of the prisoners and prison guards were assigned randomly. Professor Philip Zimbardo proved that behaviuor of individuals is predictable and depends on external conditions. The result of Zmijewski’s experiment discredits that theory.
