Twelve-year-old Panabi lives in a Warsaw housing estate ruled by Bocian. Bocian is the biggest thug and, as is usually the case, has the prettiest girlfriend. As luck would have it Panabi’s brother falls in love with Bocian’s girlfriend. Christmas is coming up, which for Panabi means an impending catastrophe. A Christmas carol with a twist, set against the backdrop of a typical Polish housing estate; the film is loosely based on “Corby’s Girl”, a short story by Etgar Keret.
