Radegast is the name of the train station in the Łódź ghetto. This was the starting point for trains taking people to gas chambers. In 1941, another 20,000 Jews from Western Europe were brought to the already over-populated ghetto. It was the first time in modern history that various communities came together. Among those sent to Łódź were scientists, lawyers, artists – people completely unprepared for the fight for survival that awaited them in this place…
