Call for submissions for the Venice Gap-Financing Market

Until April 30 this year Venice Production Bridge accepts applications for the 7th edition of Venice Gap-Financing Market. The event will take place from September 4-6, 2020, during the 77th Venice International Film Festival (September 2-12, 2020). The Venice Gap-Financing Market is a platform designed to support producers in obtaining financing sources through individual meetings with potential co-producers, sales agents, distributors, representatives of funds.

"My Neighbor Adolf" is set to Begin filming

On January 27, in Colombia, the Israeli-Polish-Colombian co-production titled "My Neighbor Adolf" will begin the shooting. The Polish part of the pictures is planned for the second quarter of 2020. The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. Film Produkcja is the Polish producer of the film.

"Corpus Christi" nominated for an Oscar!

"Corpus Christi", a film directed by Jan Komasa and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received an Oscar nomination in the International Feature Film category. Nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards were announced on January 13, the winners will be announced on February 9, 2020.

Co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, the films 'Corpus Christi', 'Mr. Jones', 'Sole' and 'Adventures of a Mathematician' were included in the program of the 31st International Palm Springs Film Festival. "Adventures of a Mathematician" screening at the festival will be its world premiere.

International Distribution of "Corpus Christi"
