Polish creative documentary "Diagnosis" goes to IDFA
"Diagnosis", a film about the subconscious of a city, directed by Ewa Podgórska, has been selected to the First Appearance Competition during one of the biggest and most prestigious documentary film festivals in the world IDFA. The producer of the film is Małgorzata Wabińska (Entertain Pictures).
"Zhalanash - Empty Shore" and "Volte" At Shortlist To Cinema Eye Honors
The documentary films "Zhalanash - empty shore" and "Volte" co-financed by the Polish Film Institute were included in the shortlist to one of the most important awards that a documentary film can receive - Cinema Eye Honors. Nominations will be announced on November 8th .
STANISŁAW ZABOROWSKI WITH EMERGING PRODUCER TITLE
Stanisław Zaborowski received the Emerging Producer title, which is awarded at the International Documentary Film Festival in Jihlava, Czech Republic.
"Another Day of Life" nominated for European Film Award
On October 23, 2018 European Film Academy announced nominees for the European Film Award in Animated Feature Film category. One of nominated films is „Jeszcze dzień życia” („Another Day of Life”) by Damian Nenow and Raúl de la Fuente, co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
Polish films at 31st IDFA
Polish films once again will be presented be in the most important sections of the 31st edition of the IDFA festival in Amsterdam. The event will take place on November 14-25.
