"Ab-ovo" Awarded in Annecy
Ab-ovo, directed by Anita Kwiatkowska-Naqvi and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received the award for Best Graduation Film at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, which closed on June 15.
Polish Animations Awarded in Egypt
Polish animated films received two awards at the 16th Ismaila International Festival for Documentaries & Shorts in Egypt. The event ran from June 4 through June 9.
"Fuck For Forest" Receives Special Mention
Michał Marczak's documentary Fuck For Forest received special mention in the Sheffield Green Award competition at the 19th Sheffield Doc/Fest International Documentary Film Festival, which closed on June 16. The film had been co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

Polish Winners of ScripTeast 2013
Bartosz Konopka and Przemysław Nowakowski have been selected as winners of the seventh edition of the Krzysztof Kieślowski ScripTeast Award for their script entitled Niemy (The Mute). The Award was presented on May 22, 2013 during the 66th Cannes International Film Festival.
