"The Whistle" Awarded in London
Grzegorz Zariczny's Gwizdek (The Whistle), which has screened at over 20 international film festivals to date, continues to keep a good pace. Last week, the film received an award at the Open City Docs Fest in London.
July 1, 2013 marked the world premiere of Papusza, a film directed by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, at the 48th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Screening in Main Competition, the film gathered very favourable reviews from Polish and international film critics.

Mundial. Gra o wszystko (Mundial. The Highest Stakes), a film directed by Michał Bielawski and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute has won the 5th Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival in New York City.
